ONE Friday Fights and ONE Fight Night are two different ONE Championship event series. Both can take place at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, but they have different schedules, broadcast times and roles within ONE Championship.

The easiest difference for visitors in Bangkok to remember is this: ONE Friday Fights takes place on Friday evening, while ONE Fight Night events at Lumpinee take place on selected Saturday mornings.

What Is ONE Friday Fights?

ONE Friday Fights, also known as ONE Lumpinee in Thailand, is ONE Championship's regular weekly series from Lumpinee Stadium.

The events are broadcast during Asian primetime and provide a platform for established competitors alongside up-and-coming fighters trying to make their name in ONE Championship.

Muay Thai is a major part of the programme, but you can also see contests from other combat sports including kickboxing and MMA.

For spectators in Bangkok, ONE Friday Fights is an evening event.

Doors Open: 5:30 PM

Fights Begin: 6:30 PM

ONE Championship also uses the series as a pathway to its global roster, with standout fighters able to earn US$100,000 ONE Championship contracts.

How Is ONE Fight Night Different?

ONE Fight Night is ONE Championship's international monthly event series and generally features major names, championship contests and established international talent.

The biggest practical difference for anyone actually attending at Lumpinee is the time.

ONE Fight Night is broadcast for U.S. primetime, which means events held in Bangkok take place on Saturday morning rather than Saturday evening.

The current ONE Fight Night at Lumpinee schedule has the event beginning at 8:00 AM, with doors opening from 7:00 AM.

So when you see “ONE Fight Night” on your ticket, don't assume the word “night” means you'll be going to Lumpinee at night in Bangkok.

For spectators sitting inside Lumpinee Stadium, it's a morning event.

Are the Fighters Different?

There can be a noticeable difference in the type of fight card.

ONE Friday Fights is particularly well known as a proving ground for emerging Muay Thai and combat-sport talent. Fighters can use impressive performances at the weekly events to earn their way onto ONE Championship's global roster.

ONE Fight Night sits on that global stage and regularly features established international competitors and World Championship-level contests across Muay Thai, MMA, kickboxing and submission grappling.

That doesn't mean ONE Friday Fights is a minor event. The Friday shows regularly produce extremely competitive fights and have become a major part of Lumpinee's modern identity.

They're simply two different ONE Championship products.

Which ONE Event Should I Book at Lumpinee?

That depends on what you want to experience and which dates you're in Bangkok.

If you want the regular Friday evening atmosphere at Lumpinee, ONE Friday Fights is the obvious choice.

If your visit coincides with a scheduled ONE Fight Night and you want one of ONE Championship's larger international cards, you have the unusual opportunity to experience Lumpinee on a Saturday morning.

The most important thing is not to confuse the names.

ONE Friday Fights: Weekly series, Friday evening, 6:30 PM start.

ONE Fight Night: Selected events, Saturday morning in Bangkok, 8:00 AM start.

They're both ONE Championship events and both can take place inside the famous Lumpinee Stadium, but ONE Friday Fights and ONE Fight Night are not the same event.
